about

After more than thirty albums of improvised / experimental psych folk Keijo returned to his blues roots with Jarmo in 2010.

A remastered reissue of this long ago sold out delta blues full-length release by Keijo Virtanen (Keijo, Rambling Boys, Vapaa, Kheta Hotem, etc.) and Jarmo Saarti (Kheta Hotem, Vakka-Suomen rytmikuninkaat). Originally released as a limited edition CD-R by Ikuisuus.

"We were not tired but we were cold. We sat by a campfire and started to sing. There was someone at home who had forgotten us. There was nothing left for us. Some black man sat by us. Or was it a woman? It opened its mouth and did'nt have any teeth. The song was cold, the song was warm. We were not afraid anymore."
